According to Page Six, who got their info from Entertainment Tonight---the Spelling-McDermott clan have a 259k tax lien put on their California property--apparently they didn't pay their taxes in 2014.
Which also, apparently, is the only year that both of them worked--I remember Dean was the "host" of Chopped, and Tori was on that horrid ABC show, Mystery Girls. I watched a little bit of it, because I was bored and there was nothing else on tv, and I just could not stand her acting. And I've actually watched her a bit on 90210, and she was not as bad on that show as she was on Mystery Girls. Perhaps because she wasn't over forty, trying to act like she was still a cutesy, twenty year old. They had her act infantile, which was just gross.
And Jesus. 259k. Please someone give me that money. I promise I'd spend more of it on local businesses and paying my bills, than on clothes, shoes, purses, or any other junk that Tori buys and puts away in storage units everywhere.
At some point, you've got to stop feeling sorry for her. I mean, yea she didn't have the best example, growing up in basically a palace and getting what she wants. But at some point, you have to stand on your own two feet and stand for your own mistakes. There is no reason that two grown ups can't pay their bills, when Tori has residuals from 90210, her films from Lifetime/ABC, her reality shows that premiered on Lifetime, and the fact that her mother probably pays for her kids stuff, since she knows they'd be living like wild animals if she didn't.
