Andy Cohen recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about Teresa and Joe Giudice--about how their marriage would be affected by the fact that they're both going to prison, saying, "They are going to be apart for a long time. I think they've got a really strong bond, but it's just so hard. For both of them, family comes first, and they're family. They've been together for years. They're high school sweethearts." Yeah, family comes first, and no matter what, family deserves the best. No matter how much money you have to beg, borrow, or steal. Emphasis on steal. I don't feel bad for them at all. They knew what they were doing--stealing money from other people. Yes, buying crap you can't afford with loans, and then defaulting on said loans is stealing.
But I guess we know that Bravo is going to get their money's worth out of this....debacle, if Andy Cohen's still talking about it. Because I can almost guarantee that the minute Teresa gets out of prison, she's going to divorce Joe, and write a book. Bravo might give her another show, about how she's 'coping' with being a single mother, and showcase her book. Maybe. I can see that backfiring, as I don't think people 'love to hate' Teresa anymore, they just flat out hate her and Joe. But, that's what sells with reality shows, so I can see it happening. And I often wonder with Andy--does he genuinely feel bad for them or what? He has had to deal with them in the past, so it's not like he can go off on them every time one of them does something stupid.....you have to have a degree of impartiality. But if I was him, I'd focus on the kids. Those kids are screwed. No matter which parent takes them. Source: Entertainment Tonight
